Renowned Artist Helga Denoth, discovered this Costarican house which was built in the seventies and transformed its walls and garden with her collection of art, sculptures and color.
She put her heart into this place for it was her dream come true. A home and an art gallery in one – Casa de Arte.
People from different corners of the world now visit this beautiful space and have the unmatched experience of exploring the world of color and art in a beautiful and natural setting, even here, in the small world of Nicoya Peninsula.
The Casa de Arte has since grown, with paintings and sculptures made by Helga and her daughter Ladina Denoth, and Helga’s son Chef Nicola Denoth and his family have also had great success with their restaurant – Bernina Artisan Food.

Casa De Arte is open all year long to visitors but due to Covid regulations and safety guidelines laid out by the government, we are now requesting visitors to kindly make an appointment in advance.
